Why Coaching?
We’re passionate about helping you play better golf.
Every golfer enjoys the game more when they’re hitting good shots and playing well. This is our mission for you.
Think back to your last few rounds and try to pinpoint an area that cost you shots…
Maybe, you had too many three-putts as a result of poor distance control? Or did you miss too many fairways to the right meaning you had to chip out sideways? It could be that you play well in practice rounds with your friends but struggle to replicate that in competitions?
Through our experiences in the game and our PGA education, we appreciate that every golfer is different. That’s why we offer a range of lessons and packages to suit everyone.
Lessons will cover:
- Golf Fundamentals
- Swing Basics
- Short Game
- Long Game
- Course Management
Our Staff
Chris Blunden - PGA Professional
Chris is the head golf coach at Sandford Springs and has experience helping golfers of all levels, whether that be a complete beginner looking to get out on the course for the first time or a professional golfer looking to bring their scoring average down and win tournaments. Chris believes in an individualized approach to golf coaching – every golfer is unique and will have different physical limitations and capabilities, so it is important to treat every golfer differently and improve the way they already move rather than working around one specific swing model. Chris believes it is important to practice what you preach and continues to work on his own game and remain competitive. He had a successful amateur career becoming Hampshire county captain as a junior, and since turning professional has had 6 tournament wins. He has experienced plenty of success with his own game and enjoys helping others to do the same - work towards and achieve their own goals in golf.
